Every journey is better with the right tools; this one is no exception. Without them, we can’t fully embrace the experience.
Here is a suggested list of things to consider with this journey.

The 15-Minute Approach
Life is full, and our time feels short. But this work isn’t about piling on more tasks—it’s about making space for the kind of self-care that truly matters. Not surface-level pampering, but deep, meaningful self-discovery. The kind that reconnects you with your own nature and with Nature herself.
Real transformation doesn’t require hours. It asks for presence.
Enter the 15-Minute Approach.
Whether you’ve heard of the Pomodoro Technique, Kaizen, or micro-habits, the idea is the same: small, consistent steps create powerful change.
Fifteen minutes is all it takes to begin.
Maybe that’s 15 fewer minutes on your phone. Maybe it’s getting up a little earlier, staying up a little later, or using part of your lunch break. You know your rhythms. Find a pocket of time and claim it.
Treat it as sacred time. These 15 minutes aren’t “extra” they’re essential. A daily devotion to your own growth, awareness, and alignment.
Because what we’re really after is this: small, consistent steps lead to big change.
Journaling as Inner Listening
Journaling is one of the most powerful tools we have. It bridges your outer experiences with your inner landscape, helping you reflect, remember, and make meaning.
Whether you use a traditional notebook or a digital tool like the Day One app, the key is regularity. The Day One app is especially versatile:
Write, speak, or record video reflections
Organize your thoughts into themes or life chapters
Receive daily prompts for reflection
Track your journey over time
No matter how you do it, journaling is how you start a conversation with your deeper self. And this journey is all about that kind of dialogue.
Nature Walks
This path is rooted in nature. One of the simplest, and most profound practices you can begin is a daily walk.
If possible, walk in the morning. That early light resets your circadian rhythms and lifts your energy and mood. But if morning doesn’t work, choose any time you can show up consistently.
Here’s the invitation:
Walk for 15 minutes a day, 5 days a week.
Move your body, clear your mind, listen inward.
Walk the same path often and notice how nature changes with the seasons.
Let this become a rhythm. Let the seasons speak to you. Let your body recalibrate. This isn’t just exercise, it’s a daily reunion with the world around you and the world within you.
An Open Mind
This might be the most important tool of all.
This journey isn’t linear. You’re learning a new language, a way of seeing through the Five Elements, through nature, through energy and consciousness. Sometimes what you encounter will stretch your understanding. That’s okay. That’s welcome.
In Chinese medicine and Taoist thought, truth is relative, not absolute. It’s not either/or, it’s both/and. Embracing that perspective opens up new dimensions of understanding.
This is spiritual work—but not in a religious sense.
Spirituality here simply means connection to the energetic part of you. To your spirit, your Shen, your consciousness. You can be religious, or not. You can hold any belief system. This work doesn’t ask you to adopt anything, it invites you to deepen your relationship with what already lives inside you.
At its core, this journey is about remembering who you are, and learning to live in harmony with that truth.
Boring Logistical Stuff
Organizing the Content
On the computer, I recommend creating a dedicated folder in your email inbox for the weekly masterclass emails. This makes it easy to revisit past content or catch up if you miss a week (which is perfectly fine!).
For easier access on the go, I highly recommend using the Substack app, where you can find all the masterclass emails in one convenient place.
Table of contents for posts
You’ll notice small horizontal lines on the left of the posts. Click on them, and a table of contents will appear, allowing you to navigate to any post section with a single click. Pretty nifty!
Downloadable Images and PDF’s
Feel free to download any graphics from the posts—Chinese medicine is such a visual language, and these can be super helpful to refer to. You can also take a screenshot if it is not downloadable. If you share anything, please respect the work as intellectual property and give credit!
Substack Chat
This is a space for inspiration, engagement, and connection—you can ask questions, share insights, or celebrate your “aha” moments with me.
This conversation space is exclusively for Elemental Health and Living Mastermind subscribers. I’ll post questions and updates that come my way, and you can jump into the discussion.
How to get started
Get the Substack app by clicking this link or the button below. New chat thread notifications will be sent by email, but you can also turn on push notifications on your phone so you don’t miss a conversation as it happens. You can also access chat on 🔗my Substack on the web.
Open the app and tap the Chat icon. It looks like two bubbles in the bottom bar, and you’ll see a row for my chat inside.
The inbox icon is where all of my emails to you live so you can access the posts on the go.
That’s it! I look forward to seeing you in the Chat! If you have any issues, check out Substack’s FAQ or message me.
